May 10, 2014 - Pato Banton live at the Inlet Beach Bar and Grill in Fort Pierce.
I wanted to see Pato Banton perform at the Inlet, but my body wanted to spend that time sleeping. So, around 5PM (just an hour before the festivities were to end) I asked my husband to stop by the Inlet anyway, since we were going out to eat in Fort Pierce. When we arrived, a lot of people were still there, a band was performing and another one was setting up. We found out that the fun wasn't over yet!
My husband ended up finding what we now consider to be the BEST jerk chicken on the Treasure Coast (and take our word for it...we drive to Fort Lauderdale for good food.) We also found what I consider to be a Saturday afternoon hot spot. I knew there was a reggae band every Saturday there. but this was my first time visiting since they've remodeled the outside area and I love it. The wooden chairs, umbrellas, stages, people watching the fun from their hotel balcony and the sandy beach in the background makes this a place to add to your list of "places to go / things to do"!
